About

Laura Palucki Blake is the Director of Institutional Research and Rffectiveness at Harvey Mudd College. Her assessment interests include institutional use of assessment results to inform improvement efforts in undergraduate education. She also hopes to continue learning more about emerging issues in teaching and learning and assessment within student affairs.

As someone who works on a small campus, Palucki Blake has a primary responsibility for the assessment of student learning. She wanted to learn and work with peers who shared her interest in helping colleges improve the student experience.

Teagle Scholars help staff, faculty, and students collaborate to find ways to change that are congruent with the campus culture, resources, and climate. Palucki Blake maintains that the Teagle Scholar Program is one of the greatest benefits to colleges and universities.

Palucki Blake says, “What is at the heart of this endeavor is an unshakable focus on helping others use evidence to improve student learning.”
