About
Catherine Finneran Andersen is the Vice Provost for Institutional Effectiveness, Planning, and Academic Quality at the University of Baltimore. Finneran Andersen is interested in many aspects of assessment, particularly institutional assessment and how all parts—including mandated reports, student learning outcomes assessment, and institutional effectiveness assessment—link to advance an institution.
Finneran Andersen is excited about the potential the Teagle Program offers to higher education and says, “Being a Teagle Scholar has provided me with a network of colleagues who have continued to support my own professional growth but has also created opportunities for me to share my expertise with others. The Teagle Scholar Program has provided a learning community—I learn; we all learn; and as a higher education community, we can collectively enhance student learning. What could be better?”
