About
Timothy Doherty is a Professor of English at Rivier University. Doherty’s assessment interests include writing and general education assessment, aligning assessment with faculty development, and assessing students’ demonstrations of knowledge.
Doherty was first drawn to the Teagle Scholar program because of the opportunity to participate in conversation about student learning. The long-term commitment was a draw because he knew it would help him improve as a teacher, campus leader, and colleague.
The Teagle Scholar Program is a benefit to colleges and universities because of the various resources available. The program equips scholars with resources and practices to make positive changes on their own campuses.
