Paul Sotherland is a former Professor of Biology at Kalamazoo College and is passionate about assessing the effectiveness of educational practices to enhance student learning as well as implementing effective practices.
Sotherland became a Teagle Scholar at his campus after developing an appreciation for the camaraderie among Teagle Scholars. He also values TASP’s approach to getting things done.
“The Teagle Scholar Program benefits colleges by providing a rejuvenating and enlightening forum and group of like-minded colleagues from which energy, enthusiasm, and ideas can be gleaned for getting the job of assessment done,” says Sotherland.
