About

Lisa Jasinski is the special assistant to the vice president of academic affairs at Trinity University. Her primary goal is to make assessment data accessible and relevant to stakeholders throughout a college or university—helping faculty members, senior administrators, and trustees see larger patterns that warrant attention and institutional resources. More specifically, Jasinski seeks to help universities develop strategic and sustainable solutions to systemic problems. She remains equally committed to thinking about the process.

According to Jasinski, “It is imperative that educational communities draw upon qualitative research methods and collaborative brainstorming techniques to include the voices of students and members of the faculty and staff in decision-making.”

Jasinski became a Teagle Scholar in 2012 because she wanted to join a community of like-minded individuals who were committed to helping colleges and universities focus on what matters most: student learning and the environments that support student learning.

Jasinski says, “The Teagle Scholars facilitate knowledge sharing across institutions and creative problem solving to achieve greater alignment between goals and outcomes.”
