About

Carol Rutz is the former Director of the College Writing Program and Senior Lecturer in English at Carleton College. Rutz has many assessment interests, including writing assessment, portfolio assessment, and assessment of faculty development.

Rutz was first interested in TASP because of the community available. She noticed that Teagle Scholars did great assessment work, and this inspired Rutz to do the same.

Rutz believes the program is a benefit to colleges and universities because of the community and resources available to scholars. The workshops and helpful programs stimulate good thinking and solutions to situations at your home campus.

Meet other Teagle Scholars.
