About
Ruth Sullivan is the Dean of Learning Resources at the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI). Like many of her cohorts, Sullivan became involved in the Teagle Program through her institution’s involvement in the Wabash National Study in 2009.
“After taking part in the associated professional development events at the Center, I realized that there was a great opportunity to learn from the ‘thought leaders’ in the field of assessment,” says Sullivan.
Sullivan believes that the insight and experience present in Teagle workshops can be invaluable to institutions that are reviewing their assessment practices, as well as to those who are simply trying to define their goals.
“Working with the many bright and dedicated Teagle Scholars has been personally satisfying, immensely instructive, and extraordinarily advantageous to my institution. What I have learned through the program I have brought back to use and improve our own assessment initiatives,” says Sullivan.
