ATLAS is dedicated to using evidence to strengthen liberal arts education for all students at all colleges and universities.

What is ATLAS?

Academic Teaching and Learning Assessment Support (ATLAS) is the consulting branch of the Center of Inquiry. This service stemmed from the Wabash National Study, which was conducted from 2006 to 2012 and designed to investigate critical factors that affect the outcomes of liberal arts education.

Today, ATLAS collaborates with faculty and staff at colleges and universities to strengthen liberal arts education by building the capacity of assessment programs to gather and use evidence to improve student learning. This is made possible by generous support from the Teagle Foundation and Lilly Endowment Inc.
